Egg Freezing

The chances of becoming a mother decrease slowly after the age of 30, but more so after 35years of age. Should some women wish to preserve the chances of motherhood, egg freezing may be the way forward.

The fast freezing technique of Vitrification has changed the way eggs are frozen and has definitely improved survival rates and, subsequently, pregnancy rates. Large studies carried out across the world have increasingly supported the feasibility of egg freezing.

This treatment option does not require a sperm and fertilisation process, making it significantly beneficial to single women and people with strong ethical objections to freezing and storing the embryos.

Survival of eggs after the freeze thaw process is about 90%. Therefore this is an excellent treatment option in selected groups of patients.

Please feel free to read more about the candidate suitability, costs and availability by clicking our egg freezing brochure or by making an appointment to see Mr. Gudi or Mr. Shah.
