Mr Simon Hill qualified from Charing Cross Hospital Medical School, University of London in 1983 and gained considerable experience in a obstetrics, gynaecology and urogynaecology fields mainly in London before joining the Royal Blackburn Hospital in 1998 as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a subspecialty interest in Urogynaecology.

As a keen teacher he currently is involved in the teaching and development of undergraduates, postgraduates, midwives and nursing staff. Whilst simultaneously maintaining a busy hands-on consultant practice Simon continues his clinical research into the field of Urogynaecology and has written over 35 publications and has delivered numerous specialist presentations on urogynaecology to consultant colleagues across the world.
